StockSentryBot

StockSentryBot is the user agent StockSentry uses when it checks product pages. It identifies itself as StockSentryBot/1.0 (+https://stocksentry.ca/bot).

• We only check a retailer's pages when that retailer has given us permission, and we prefer official APIs and authorized feeds whenever they exist.
• We obey robots.txt, including rules for the StockSentryBot token.
• We keep request rates low and back off automatically on errors or rate limits.
• We never solve CAPTCHAs or work around bot protection, sign-ins or other access controls.
• One check serves every subscriber watching a product, so traffic doesn't grow with our user count.
