Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and StockSentry about your use of StockSentry. By creating an account you agree to them.

What StockSentry does

StockSentry checks product availability and prices at supported retailers through authorized data sources and emails you when something you're watching changes. We don't sell products. Any purchase is between you and the retailer, on the retailer's terms.

No guarantees about stock, prices or timing

Availability and prices change quickly and the data we receive can be delayed or wrong. We don't guarantee that a product will be available, that a price is accurate, or that an alert arrives within any particular time. Always confirm the price and availability on the retailer's site before buying.

Your account

• Give us an email address you control and keep your password secure.
• One account per person. Don't share or resell alerts.
• Don't scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or interfere with StockSentry, or use it to get around retailers' purchase limits or access controls.

Paid plans

• Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Prices are in Canadian dollars plus applicable taxes.
• You can cancel any time from Plan & billing. Your paid features continue until the end of the period you paid for.
• If a payment fails we'll retry and email you; if it keeps failing your account moves to the Free plan and extra watched products are paused, not deleted.
• Refunds: contact support within 14 days of a charge and we'll refund it if you haven't meaningfully used the paid features. Statutory rights in your province are not affected.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; changes apply from your next renewal.

Affiliate links

Some retailer links are affiliate links and we may earn a commission. That never changes which alerts you receive.

Ending the service

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service we'll refund any unused prepaid period.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, StockSentry is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. We're not liable for missed purchases, retailer decisions, or indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, subject to the consumer protection laws of your province.
